The O Level years

The O Level years (Grades 9 to 11) bring focus. Our O Level teaching follows the published Cambridge O Level syllabus for each subject. Students build understanding first and exam technique with care, and take on more responsibility as leaders and role models in the school.

At a glance: Grades 9 to 11 · Ages 14 to 17 · Classes of at most 12 students · Taught live online

Starting sooner? The O Level Evening Programme offers small live evening classes for Grades 9 to 11 from Monday 11 January 2027, before the full school opens.

What your child will study. Subjects: Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, with Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies and Urdu to follow when the full school opens. Each subject follows its published Cambridge O Level syllabus.

How we prepare students for exams. Teachers build understanding first, then exam technique: structured revision, practice in the format of each paper and clear feedback on how answers are marked.

How you will see progress. You receive a written progress report each term.

Sitting Cambridge O Level exams: what families need to know. Quadranza Academy is not a Cambridge registered school or exam centre, and does not hold Cambridge accreditation. Cambridge exams are taken separately from the school, as a private candidate at an exam centre that accepts them. Whether O Level is open to private candidates, and at what age, depends on the country and the centre.

The exam route, in four steps

  1. Check the rules where you live. If you live outside Pakistan, check with a local exam centre whether it accepts private candidates for O Level, and at what age.
  2. Agree subjects. Confirm your child's subjects with us, and check that each is offered at your exam centre.
  3. Register with an exam centre. Families register with a centre that accepts private candidates, within its registration window.
  4. Sit the exams at the centre, in the exam series it offers.

Questions about the O Level years

  • Where will my child sit the exams?
As a private candidate at an exam centre that accepts them, such as the British Council in Pakistan. Our exams guide explains what we have confirmed for Pakistan and the Gulf, and when we last checked.
  • What if O Level is not open to private candidates where we live?
Please talk to us before you apply.
  • Are exam fees included in school fees?
No. Exam entry fees are paid separately, to the exam centre.
  • Will O Level results be accepted where we live?
It depends on the country and the institution, and in some countries private-candidate certificates are not endorsed by the ministry. Check with the institution and your ministry before relying on any result.
  • Do you offer IGCSE?
Our O Level teaching follows Cambridge O Level syllabuses. IGCSE is not offered at launch.
  • Do you offer A Levels?
    Not at launch.
