Admissions

Questions families ask

Choosing a school raises important questions. Here are our answers, as plainly as we can give them, including where something is still being finalised. If your question is not here, contact our admissions team.

About the school

  • Is Quadranza Academy a full-time school?
Yes. Quadranza is designed as a full-time online school for Grade 5 to O Level, not a supplementary or tutoring service. Students follow one programme, planned and taught by our own teachers, in which Islamic Tarbiyah (the nurturing of faith, character and conduct) and practical skills are part of the school week, not extras. If you live outside Pakistan, whether an online school can be your child's main school depends on the rules where you live; see "Is full-time online schooling accepted where we live?"
  • Who runs Quadranza Academy?
Quadranza is operated by Softbanz Technology Solutions, from Karachi, Pakistan.
  • Which countries do you serve?
Quadranza Academy is a Pakistan-based online school, run from Karachi. We are designed for families in Pakistan, the Gulf and beyond whose time zone suits our school day. If you live outside Pakistan, please check your country's rules on home education before you enrol.

Where you live: rules, recognition and exams

  • Is full-time online schooling accepted where we live?
Quadranza Academy is a Pakistan-based online school. If you live outside Pakistan, the rules on home education and online schooling differ by country, so please check with your education ministry before you enrol. The school does not confirm legal eligibility on a family's behalf.
  • Is Quadranza Academy recognised where we live?
Quadranza is not a Cambridge registered school or exam centre, and does not hold Cambridge accreditation. Recognition of online schooling, and of certificates taken as a private candidate, differs by country. In the UAE, for example, the British Council states that certificates for private candidates are not endorsed by the UAE ministry (confirmed from an official source, checked 2 November 2026). We have not verified the position in the other countries.
  • How do Cambridge O Level exams work for your students?
Cambridge exams are taken separately from the school, as a private candidate at an exam centre that accepts them, such as the British Council. The centre manages registration, fees and exam days. Whether O Level is open to private candidates, and at what age, depends on the country and the centre.
  • Are O Level exams available in our country?
It depends on the country and the exam centre. Please check with a local exam centre, such as the British Council, before you enrol.
  • Do you offer IGCSE or A Levels?
Not at present. Our O Level teaching follows the published Cambridge O Level syllabus for each subject. We do not offer IGCSE, and A Levels are not offered at launch.
  • What happens if we move to another country?
Please tell us as early as you can, and check the rules in your new country, because exam access and the rules on home education may be different there.

Teaching and the school week

  • How many students are in a class?
Classes are capped at 12 students, so teachers can know each student well.
  • Are lessons live?
Teaching happens in scheduled live lessons, with a teacher and a class who learn together.
  • What language are lessons taught in?
    Lessons are taught in English.
  • Who are the teachers?
Our teachers are trained by Quadranza Academy, and their lessons are observed in EdBanz, our online classroom. Teacher profiles will be published here as teachers are appointed.
  • How will we know how our child is doing?
You receive a written progress report each term.

Character and Tarbiyah

  • What does Islamic Tarbiyah mean at Quadranza Academy?
Tarbiyah is the nurturing of faith, character and conduct. Students learn from the Qur'an, the Seerah and the lives of the Prophet ﷺ, his family and his companions, and practise character in how they learn, speak and serve.
  • How is character taught?
Character is taught directly in Tarbiyah lessons and expected in every lesson: honesty in work, discipline in effort and kindness in discussion.

Wellbeing, safety and technology

  • How do you keep students safe online?
Through classrooms that only enrolled students and staff can join, contact through school channels only, and a clear code of conduct for students and staff. Our safeguarding policy, with the name of our safeguarding lead, will be published before classes begin.
  • How do you approach AI?
Students are taught to do their own thinking first, to use AI tools only where a teacher allows it, and to be open about how they used them.
  • Will my child make friends?
Friendships grow from working together, so every student belongs to a class and a grade group, and lessons and projects are designed for students to discuss, collaborate and present to one another, in school spaces supervised by staff.

Admissions and fees

  • When can we apply?
Registration for the O Level Evening Programme is open now, for the term starting on Monday 11 January 2027. Applications for the full school are not open yet; register your interest, and we will write to you when they open.
  • Is there an entrance exam?
Yes. Your child takes a short, free online admission test. The results are sent to you by email, and our admissions team reviews them before offering a place.
  • What documents do we need?
Your child's passport or ID details and recent school reports, if you have them.
  • Is anything charged before we have seen the full terms?
No. Every fee, including any application fee, is shown in writing before you are asked to pay it.
  • What are the fees?
For the O Level Evening Programme, PKR 18,000 per subject per month for families in Pakistan, and USD 85 for families outside Pakistan. Fees for the full school will be published in full before applications open.
